Founded in 1948, the North San Joaquin Water Conservation District oversees 150,000 acres of productive agricultural land in and around the City of Lodi.
Its purpose is to conserve certain stream and unnavigable river water for irrigation and domestic / municipal uses.
The five-member Board of Directors are elected and hold regular meetings on the first Tuesday of March, June, September and December, with special board meetings called as required.
